Frequently asked questions

How are assignments made?

Guests are shuffled and spread as evenly as possible across the categories you select. Each new spin creates a fresh assignment.

Does my guest list leave my device?

No server is used to make the assignment. The work happens in your browser. If you share a link, its URL contains the assignment so the recipient sees the same result.

Can I assign only certain categories?

Yes. Turn off anything the host already has covered. Keep at least one category selected.

Do I need an account?

No account, download, or signup is required. Open the page, make the list, and share it.
