About
A better answer to “what should I bring?”
Who Brings It is a free assignment generator for any group that needs to coordinate who is bringing what—without managing a spreadsheet or a never-ending group chat.
Fast, fair, and flexible
Add the group, choose or rename the categories, set any minimums, and spin. The tool spreads people as evenly as possible among the selected categories. Food categories are included by default for potlucks, but they can become tents, firewood, coolers, tools, supplies, or anything else your plan needs.
Private by design
The assignment is calculated in your browser. You do not need an account, and there is no server-side name database used for the spin. If you create a share link, the assignment data is encoded in that URL so recipients can see the same plan.
Made for coordination, not gambling
The wheel is a playful way to divide responsibilities for meals, trips, events, and group projects. There are no bets, prizes, ticket sales, or payouts.
